Hospitalizations are slowing in hotspots like New York, New Jersey, Michigan, and Louisiana. This is clear evidence that our aggressive strategy to combat the virus is working and that Americans are following the guidelines. It’s been incredible what they’ve done."
Misinformation
As of May 12th, 2020 the cases are still going up according to John Hopkins University. New Jersey’s, Michigan’s, Louisiana’s, and New York’s hospitals are still overrun with COVID-19 patients due to their high populations and disobedience from the public. The United States did not have an “aggressive strategy”. Places like Richardson County shut down and put strict restrictions up to help prevent spread but other places such as Florida did not shut down at all. Many Americans are not following the guidelines to social distance ending in dangerous situations throughout the country. He is not telling the truth in this comment and spreading over exaggerations.
